1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using Triu Cup ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the app.
The app is operated by Francisco Mejía ("the developer", "we"). Contact: soporte@triucup.app.
2. Service description
Triu Cup is a mobile app for collecting virtual stickers from the 2026 Football World Cup. The app allows users to:
- Collect digital stickers from participating national teams.
- Trade stickers with friends and the community.
- View the 2026 World Cup match calendar.
- Read news related to the tournament.
- Connect with friends to share collection progress.
The app does not include: in-app purchases or subscriptions, third-party advertising, or gambling, betting or real-money monetisation mechanisms.
3. Eligibility
To use Triu Cup you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (or the digital age of consent in your country if higher).
- If you are over 16 but under 18, have the consent of your parent or legal guardian.
- Not be subject to international sanctions or reside in countries with usage restrictions.
By registering, you declare and guarantee that you meet these requirements. By clicking "Continue", you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
4. Account registration and security
4.1 Account creation
To use the app you must create an account by providing: full name, valid email address, unique username (@handle), and a secure password.
4.2 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, all activities that occur under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4.3 Verification
We may require verification of your email address via a link sent to your email or a deep link within the app.
4.4 Biometric authentication
If you enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint), you acknowledge that biometric data is managed exclusively by your device's operating system and that the app only receives a successful or failed authentication confirmation.
5. Permitted use
You may only use Triu Cup for personal, non-commercial purposes, lawful activities in accordance with these terms, and respectful interaction with other users.
5.1 Prohibited conduct
You may not: attempt to access other users' accounts; create fake accounts or impersonate another person; use the app to send spam, phishing or malicious content; reverse-engineer, decompile, modify or create derivative works from the app; exploit vulnerabilities or bugs for unfair advantage; use bots, scripts or any unauthorised automation; or violate applicable laws.
6. User conduct and prohibited content
Triu Cup fosters a respectful and safe community for all users. By using the app, you agree to comply with the following rules of conduct.
6.1 Prohibited content and behaviour
It is strictly prohibited to use Triu Cup to:
- Post, share or transmit offensive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or illegal content.
- Harass, intimidate, threaten or insult other users.
- Send spam, unsolicited advertising or deceptive content.
- Impersonate another person or provide false information.
- Use the platform for any fraudulent activity or activity that violates applicable law.
6.2 Reporting users
Triu Cup provides a mechanism for any user to report inappropriate behaviour or content directly from the app. All reports will be reviewed by the moderation team.
6.3 Blocking users
Users may block other users to prevent future interactions within the app. A blocked user will not be able to send friend requests, trade requests or interact with the user who blocked them, subject to the available functionality.
6.4 Moderation
Triu Cup maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive behaviour. When a report is confirmed, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Remove the infringing content.
- Temporarily suspend the account.
- Restrict certain functionality.
- Permanently terminate the responsible user's account.
Our goal is to review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours of receipt and to act in a timely manner where appropriate.
6.5 Acceptance
By creating an account or signing in to Triu Cup, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, including the rules of conduct described above.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 App content
All intellectual property rights of Triu Cup — including the source code and interface design, the "Triu Cup" brand, its logo and graphic elements, and the database structure and collection system — are the exclusive property of the developer or its licensors.
7.2 Third-party marks and rights
Triu Cup is a fan-made app. The names of national teams, flags, crests, player names and any reference to the FIFA World Cup are the property of their respective owners (FIFA, national federations, etc.). The app is not affiliated with, sponsored by or approved by FIFA or any football federation.
7.3 Licence of use
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on your personal devices, subject to these terms.
8. User-generated content
You retain all rights over the content you generate. By using the app, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display such content solely for the operation of the app. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to moderate user-generated content and may remove any content we deem inappropriate, illegal or in violation of these terms.
9. Trades between users
Collectible cards in Triu Cup are virtual digital assets with no real-world monetary value. They do not represent property rights, are not transferable outside the app, and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services. Trades are confirmed when both parties explicitly accept. Once confirmed, the trade is irreversible. Trade offers expire automatically after 48 hours.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages; loss of data, album progress, virtual cards or settings; loss of profits, revenue, savings, opportunities or reputation; service interruption due to maintenance, technical failures or force majeure; or acts of other users. Our total liability to you shall not exceed, under any circumstances, the amount you paid to use the app (currently zero, as the app is free).
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we detect fraud, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers. Pending trades will be cancelled automatically.
13. Updates and changes
We may modify features of the app at any time and will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notice or app store update. We may update these Terms periodically and will notify you of substantial changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory data protection rules of the user's country of residence. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless applicable law establishes a different inalienable jurisdiction for consumers. For consumer disputes, you may access the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. General provisions
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer. If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent.
16. No AI or automation
Triu Cup does not use artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks or any automation system to generate content, moderate users, personalise experiences or make automated decisions affecting users. All functionality operates through deterministic programmed logic.
17. No payments, betting or gambling
Triu Cup is not a gambling game, does not offer betting, has no real-money monetisation mechanisms and contains no casino-style gambling. Card trades are free and voluntary. Cards are obtained exclusively through interaction with the app (promotional codes) and not through loot boxes, draws or any paid randomised system.
